Validation log

Append-only audit trail of every source and claim validation performed on the Kipine knowledge base. Each row records who (AI model or human), when, and what was verified — with the evidence snippet from the source when available. This is the transparency layer behind every "Verified" badge you see elsewhere on the site.

How validation works

Every validation event is written as one line in an append-only JSONL log. Nothing is ever overwritten — if a prior check turns out to be wrong, a new event is added that supersedes the old one. Each event records the validator (specific AI model version, human reviewer, or deterministic API lookup), the prompt hash used, the tools invoked, and — for claim-level checks — the exact quote from the source that supports the claim.
