Evidence summary
Rapid but temporary polyp reduction. EPOS 2020 recommends limiting to 1–2 courses per year due to cumulative toxicity (osteoporosis, diabetes, adrenal suppression, cataracts). Frequent need for oral steroids is an indication for biologic therapy.
